He vandalized her life and she has got to live with that for the rest of her life.' Forensic scientist Kim Edwards explained that her analysis of the condom found at the Hackney flat was consistent with sexual intercourse involving Henry and the girl, with the use of a condom. The court also heard a recording of a phone call Henry made from Wormwood Scrubs prison, where he made lewd suggestions to the girl, asked for money, and professed his love for her. The girl responded by saying she missed him and loved him.

Henry claimed that he was introduced to the girl by his cousin in Bristol, and that they exchanged phone numbers. He admitted to calling her more than 1,000 times between September and December, although he insisted not all calls were conversations. Despite his denials, the jury found him guilty of the charges.

The victim recounted how Henry messaged her before they met in Bristol, where he then assaulted her in a flat and threatened to publish the photos he had taken.
