“PANIC AS MAN FLEES” — FRODSHAM SUSPECT CONFRONTED IN CHILD CHAT PROBE
A paedophile from Frodsham was confronted at his home address following an investigation by online child protection groups Red Rose UK and Ghosts Exposure.Ethan Fletcher, understood to be from Frodsham in the Cheshire area, was approached on 4th February 2026 after concerns were raised over alleged sexual communication with someone believed to be a child.
During the confrontation, the man reportedly attempted to leave the scene as members of the groups challenged him over the allegations.
The incident is understood to have been recorded, with material now forming part of an evidence package.
Both groups state that their investigations involve engaging with suspected offenders online using decoy profiles before passing all relevant evidence to police.
It has not been officially confirmed whether any arrest or charges have been made at this stage.
Any police enquiries would be ongoing, and all individuals are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
Red Rose UK said their priority remains safeguarding children and supporting law enforcement through the submission of evidence.
