TRANS COUNCIL CANDIDATE SUSPENDED OVER SEXUAL MISCONDUCT ALLEGATIONS
A candidate for the TRANScouncil has been suspended by the Scottish Green Party following sexual misconduct allegations. The claims involve Eryn Browning, who is accused of sending inappropriate messages to underage girls, with reports suggesting she was 16 years old at the time.
Multiple women have come forward, alleging that Browning, when known as Evan, contacted them with sexually inappropriate comments.
One woman stated she was only 13 when she received a sexually explicit message, and she also claimed Browning attempted to kiss her at school without her consent when she was also 13.
Another individual reported blocking Browning several times on dating platforms due to inappropriate messages.
The Scottish Greens have referred these allegations to Police Scotland, and Browning has been suspended from all campaign-related activities.
This incident follows Browning’s previous remarks criticizing JK Rowling as a “Holocaust denier” and her praise for Isla Bryson, a transgender woman convicted in 2023 for raping two women when she was known as Adam Graham.
