The court heard that she would invite the boys into her house, where she engaged in sexual acts on the stairs and the living room floor, often after sending them messages to skip lessons or meet her secretly.

One particularly troubling account detailed how Webb lured a 16-year-old boy to her residence for a 20-minute sexual encounter after Facebook messaging him and claiming her husband was out. She then performed oral sex on him in her Jeep in a deserted car park near his home, before performing a sex act on herself, which she did loudly, according to court reports. The prosecution revealed that Webb also manipulated a 15-year-old boy by sending him flirtatious messages, asking him to keep his Bluetooth active so she could send explicit pictures of herself in her underwear and playing with sex toys.

Further allegations detailed how Webb took the same boy to her home while her husband was at work, where they kissed on the stairs and then engaged in sexual intercourse. The boy, who did not use a condom, was told by Webb that she was unable to have children, which she claimed made the act acceptable. The court also heard that Webb drove another boy to a secluded woodland area, where they had sex in the back seat of her vehicle. The 16-year-old was reluctant to report the incidents, fearing retaliation because Webb had told him her husband was a black belt in karate.

During the hearing, Webb was visibly distressed, breaking into tears and trembling as she was informed she would not face immediate jail time. This leniency was partly due to her previous conviction in 2012, when she was sentenced to 32 months in prison after admitting to having affairs with five other pupils at the same school, which remains unnamed for legal reasons. Webb’s defense attorney, Lucy Tapper, argued that her client had been trying to rebuild her life, securing a part-time job and reconnecting with her children. She also noted that Webb had begun a tentative new relationship and expressed her remorse for her actions. Despite these pleas, Webb was sentenced to a 15-month prison term, suspended for two years, and was ordered to undergo two years of probation supervision. She was also required to pay a £100 victim surcharge.

This case echoes a previous scandal from December 2012, when Webb, then aged 42 and also from Woodley, was convicted of grooming and having unprotected sex with five teenage boys. She had sent explicit messages, taken pupils to her home, and engaged in sexual acts during school hours and free periods. Webb’s misconduct included joking about having a child with one of the boys and making inappropriate comments about his body. She was sentenced to 32 months in jail for these offenses, which involved similar grooming behaviors and abuse of her position as a teacher.

Throughout the proceedings, Webb appeared tired and emotional, dressed in a grey striped top, as she sat in the dock. Her husband was notably absent from the courtroom, with a woman at their home in Reading stating he was at work.
