Elisha Callen, aged 26, of Glenview Avenue, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on July 26 to face charges related to domestic violence.
She was accused of assault by beating, allegedly having struck a man in Pembroke Dock.
On the same day, she was also charged with damaging several items including a television, cups, plates, and a chessboard owned by the same man.
Additionally, Callen was found in possession of a quantity of cannabis in Haverfordwest.
On July 28, she admitted to criminal damage and possessing cannabis, but initially denied the assault charge.
Despite her denial, she was convicted of assault by beating following a trial in her absence on September 22.
The court was informed that the domestic violence offences were severe enough to warrant a custodial sentence, especially given that they occurred while she was under a suspended sentence.
On October 8, Callen was sentenced to serve 16 weeks in prison.
