STAMPING THUG FROM FORFAR BROKE VICTIM’S ANKLE FOR SEX ACT REFUSAL
After a night drinking Dragon Soop, Dylan Read, 22, repeatedly stamped on his 45-year-old victim's ankle and hit her with a plank.
Her right ankle was fractured and her face was bruised, with a swollen temple and cheek.
The woman underwent surgery to mend the dislocation and break, receiving three plates and 15 screws.
She had to wear a cast for about six weeks and still bears scarring, with reduced mobility.
Read later told police: “I could never do that to her, she is twice the size of me.” He is currently awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to assault causing severe injury, resulting in permanent disfigurement and impairment.
The court has deferred sentencing until January, with background reports ordered.
The victim has requested a non-harassment order.
His previous conviction was a single threat or abusive behavior charge in 2022, which resulted in an admonition.
