DUEANE DOWLING FROM BIRMINGHAM SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT AFTER NIGHT OUT

A man from Birmingham has been handed a prison sentence after being found guilty of committing a sexual assault at his own residence. The incident took place following a night out in Birmingham in September 2018, during which Duane Dowling, the accused, went out with friends and later returned to his home. It was at this location that he assaulted a woman known to him. The woman immediately reported the incident to the police, making it clear that she did not consent to any sexual activity with Dowling. A forensic examination was conducted, and it confirmed that Dowling's DNA was present on her body, providing crucial evidence linking him to the assault.
