MOST PROMINENT PAEDOPHILE DOCTOR, 78, 'SEXUALLY ASSAULTED YOUNG PATIENTS'
During a court hearing, it was revealed that 78-year-old Dr.John Sivaguru Narendran allegedly used disturbing and inappropriate methods with his young, vulnerable patients.
Among these acts, he reportedly tied one patient to a bed before attacking him.
The orthopedic surgeon was known to blindfold his patients and, on one occasion, restrained a young patient to the bed to carry out sexual assaults.
In the past, Narendran served a prison sentence in 1996 after being convicted of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old boy, which resulted in a 21-month imprisonment.
He is presently on trial for 14 historical sexual offence charges involving four teenage boys between 1983 and 1996, during which he was working at two hospitals in Sussex.
Prosecutor Hugh French described Narendran as a “trusted” doctor who systematically abused young boys in his care.
The victims came forward after viewing documentaries about sexual predators like Jimmy Savile, uncovering a pattern of abuse spanning over 13 years.
