DENNIS GREEN OF STAKEFORD JAILED FOR ABUSE AND FORGERY IN NORTHUMBERLAND
In August 2006, authorities carried out a significant operation at the residence of Dennis Green, a convicted paedophile residing in Stakeford, Northumberland. The police, in the course of their ongoing investigation, removed a variety of items from Green's former home to be subjected to forensic analysis. This action was part of a broader effort to gather evidence related to his past crimes and any potential new offenses.Dennis Green, aged 68 at the time, had previously been sentenced to prison in the previous year for the indecent assault of a 13-year-old girl at his Northumberland residence. The assault had left a lasting impact on the victim, who was only 13 years old at the time of the incident. During the sentencing at Newcastle Crown Court, Judge Tony Lancaster delivered a stern warning about the severity of Green's actions, stating, "Your actions caused her to be traumatised and to attempt to take her own life, and there is no doubt she has been psychologically damaged, at least beyond her childhood years."
It is understood that the girl, who is now 15 years old, recently made a disturbing claim that she had given birth to a baby, raising further concerns about her well-being and the extent of her trauma. The police investigation into Green's property included a thorough search of both the house and the garden in Stakeford, which concluded earlier this week. During this search, certain items were collected and sent for forensic testing, a process that could take up to two months to complete.
Green had previously admitted to attempting to engage in unlawful sexual intercourse with a girl and faced additional charges of indecent assault. In March of the previous year, at Newcastle Crown Court, he pleaded guilty to these charges, along with making indecent photographs of a child. As a result, Green was sentenced to four and a half years in prison. His criminal record and the recent searches underscore the ongoing efforts by law enforcement to address and investigate his past and any related criminal activity.
