SHEFFIELD RAPIST SENTENCED TO 8 YEARS FOR HORRIFIC ASSAULT
Dennis Allko, a man from Sheffield, has been sentenced to eight years in prison after being convicted of raping a woman.The 30-year-old was found guilty at Sheffield Crown Court following a trial that centered on an incident in February this year.
The victim, a woman in her 30s, visited Moss Way Police Station to report that she had been sexually assaulted.
Allko, previously residing on Berners Road, subjected her to a traumatic and frightening attack.
Detective Constable Charlie Frost of Sheffield’s Protecting Vulnerable People unit stated: “Allko committed a violent and horrific sexual crime that left his victim injured, traumatised, and afraid he might assault her again.” Frost also acknowledged the victim’s bravery in facing her ordeal and reporting it to authorities.
Police managed to arrest Allko days later after locating his vehicle in London.
He was charged and, with the victim’s crucial testimony, was ultimately convicted of the crime.
He has since been jailed to prevent any further harm.
The judge handed down an eight-year sentence, underscoring how serious the offence was and its devastating impact on the woman.
