DEAN VANDENHAAS FROM BOGNOR REGIS JAILED FOR CHILD INDECENCY IMAGES

A resident of Bognor Regis, Dean Vandenhaas, has been sentenced to a term of 15 months in prison after being found guilty of possessing and producing indecent images of children on multiple electronic devices.

Vandenhaas, aged 45, initially contested the charges but changed his plea to guilty on the day of his trial, leading to his conviction. The court heard that he was involved in both the possession and creation of content that fell into the most serious categories of indecent images involving minors.

Following his sentencing, Vandenhaas will be subject to a lifelong sexual harm prevention order, which aims to restrict his access to certain activities and prevent further offenses.
