Dean Brown, age 36 and residing on Hammer Hill in Surrey, was responsible for a pattern of abusive behavior towards his former girlfriend, a woman in her 30s from Chichester, over a span of three years.During this period, she was subjected to both aggressive outbursts and physical assaults.
Her suffering included not only physical abuse but also emotional torment, which continued from July 2022 into the beginning of the current year.

Shortly after the baby’s birth, he assaulted her again while she was holding the infant.
Additionally, Brown threw a knife at the woman two months later, nearly hitting her and causing damage to a wall nearby.
This incident was among several others that resulted in damage to their residence.
In court proceedings, Brown admitted to causing actual bodily harm on two counts, criminal damage on three counts, and assault on two counts during his appearance at Worthing Magistrates’ Court in April.
Subsequently, on August 4 at Portsmouth Crown Court, he received a 16-month prison sentence and was imposed with a restraining order valid for ten years.
