DAVID REUBENS FROM NORTH YORKSHIRE CONVICTED OF ONLINE CHILD SEX OFFENSES

A resident of North Yorkshire, David Reubens, aged 56, has been found guilty of attempting to engage in sexual activity through online chat with what he believed to be a teenage girl.

Reubens was caught on camera by an undercover officer who was pretending to be a 14-year-old girl.

During the online interaction, Reubens exposed himself and engaged in masturbation.

Further investigations revealed that he had indecent images of children stored at his residence.

As a result, Reubens has been sentenced to a community order and mandated to undergo sex offender treatment.

The court was told that he is currently living separately from his wife and is battling a serious illness.
