TEACHER JAILED FOR SEXUALLY ABUSING UNDERAGE GIRL AND KISSING FRIEND DURING GAME

A former Bradford teacher named David Ramsay has been sentenced to over five years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple charges of sexually abusing an underage girl.

Bradford Crown Court was informed that Ramsay, 38, had also kissed the girl’s friend during a vodka-driven game of “spin the bottle.” Ramsay admitted to a series of offenses involving engaging in sexual activities with a child.

Court proceedings revealed that Ramsay repeatedly sexually abused his first victim in his Skoda Octavia and once at his rented flat.

Additionally, he arranged secret meetings with the teenager, took her to secluded locations, and lied about loving her.

The victim also recalled Ramsay having “snogged” her friend during a game.

The prosecution noted that Ramsay provided cannabis brownies or cookies to the girls during a trip.

In her victim impact statement, the first victim described suffering “paralysing anxiety” and feeling intense anger about Ramsay’s treatment.

Ramsay, who had no prior convictions, was sentenced to five years and three months in prison and was ordered to register as a sex offender for life.

He was also given an indefinite sexual harm prevention order, including a ban on working as a teacher anywhere in the world.
