DAVID KLUCK CAUGHT WITH HORRIFIC PORN IN WEST CUMBRIA AND SENT TO PRISON
In October 2011, a disturbing case emerged involving David Kluck, a man from West Cumbria, who was found in possession of some of the most disturbing and revolting pornography ever encountered in Cumbria. The authorities uncovered 27 graphic images, which included highly disturbing content involving a horse, during a search of Kluck’s laptop. This discovery was made after police investigations were initiated following Kluck’s inappropriate and sexual messages sent to an 11-year-old girl.Kluck, aged 44 at the time, was subsequently brought before Carlisle Crown Court to face the serious charges. The court was presided over by Judge Paul Batty QC, who described the images as “truly revolting” and stated that they were among the worst he had ever seen in his judicial career. The severity of the material was evident, and it underscored the gravity of the offences committed by Kluck.
It was revealed that Kluck, who had previously resided in West Cumbria but was at that time without a fixed address, pleaded guilty to multiple charges. These included possession of “extreme pornography,” a category of material that is rarely seen in court due to its explicit and disturbing nature. In addition, he admitted to possessing over 100 images depicting children engaged in sexual acts, some involving children and adults, which further compounded the seriousness of his crimes.
Furthermore, Kluck also pleaded guilty to an offence involving the misuse of telecommunications systems. This involved sending sexually suggestive messages to the young girl, which was part of the broader pattern of his inappropriate conduct. The case was brought to light when the girl’s mother discovered Kluck’s message on a computer, raising alarm and prompting police intervention.
During police interviews, Kluck admitted to enjoying both adult and child pornography. However, he claimed to police that he did not have a predilection for children, a statement that did little to mitigate the severity of his actions in the eyes of the court.
In his defense, lawyer Kim Whittlestone highlighted that Kluck had been subjected to violence, having been beaten twice as a result of the offences. The injuries sustained in the second incident were so severe that Kluck spent three days in hospital. When he appeared in court last month, he was so badly battered and bruised that he could hardly stand, and he was remanded in custody for his own protection.
Ultimately, the court sentenced Kluck to a total of two years and four months in prison. Additionally, he was ordered to register as a sex offender for a period of ten years. The court also imposed an indefinite ban on him working with children, having unsupervised contact with girls under the age of 16, and using computers or the internet unless equipped with police-approved monitoring software. These measures aimed to prevent any further harm and to protect vulnerable individuals from potential exploitation by Kluck in the future.
