A 25-year-old resident of Milton, David Daniel, found himself at the center of a serious legal case after authorities uncovered a disturbing collection of indecent images of children stored on his electronic devices. The investigation, carried out by specialized cybercrime units, revealed that Daniel was in possession of and had distributed illicit material, prompting significant concern from law enforcement officials.

The investigation uncovered a substantial amount of illegal content spread across two separate devices belonging to Daniel. During sentencing discussions, questions arose about whether Daniel could be assigned to unpaid community service as an alternative to jail time. In the end, the court decided against imposing a jail sentence or community service. Instead, Daniel was placed on the sex offenders register for a period of 18 months.
