DAVE MOORE'S SHOCKING CRIME IN HACKNEY AND SCOTLAND: PREDATOR'S REIGN OF TERROR

In a case that has sparked outrage across both Scotland and East London, Dave Moore, a 36-year-old man from Hackney, has been convicted of heinous sexual offenses involving underage girls.

The case, which has drawn intense public and parental criticism, highlights the disturbing nature of Moore's predatory behavior and the perceived shortcomings of the justice system.

Moore admitted to engaging in unlawful sexual activities with a 13-year-old girl from Renfrewshire, Scotland, during a prolonged period of grooming facilitated through an internet chatroom.

The relationship lasted over a year, during which Moore, a father of four, exploited the young girl’s trust and innocence.

The victim's identity remains protected for legal reasons, but her parents have expressed their profound disappointment and anger over the sentencing.

Moore’s criminal history is troubling; he is already incarcerated for targeting another teenager in Hull while on bail for his initial offense.

His actions have caused significant distress among the families involved, and the case has become a focal point for discussions about justice and child protection.

The incident was brought before the High Court in Edinburgh, where Lord Philip sentenced Moore to three years in prison.

This sentence is to be served consecutively with the six-year term Moore is currently serving in a London prison for assaulting the Hull girl.

The parents of the Scottish girl, who cannot be named publicly, voiced their outrage at the leniency of the sentence.

They announced plans to write directly to Scotland’s Justice Minister, Cathy Jamieson, to express their dissatisfaction.

The girl’s mother stated, “I’m absolutely gutted at the sentence – I thought he’d get longer than he did.

I’m disgusted with the justice system.” Her father echoed her sentiments, saying, “It’s not what I expected.

We came here with high hopes that he would get his just rewards.

They should have put him away for the length of time he deserved.” Supporters of the Hull victim, including her parents, traveled to Edinburgh to witness the proceedings and shared their own condemnation of the sentence.

The father of the Hull girl described the punishment as a “disgrace” and expressed his fears about Moore’s potential to re-offend, emphasizing that he is a serial paedophile.

He also criticized the justice system for allowing Moore to be bailed out after his initial arrest, despite the clear danger he posed.

During the sentencing, Lord Philip expressed concern over Moore’s apparent lack of remorse and understanding of the gravity of his crimes.

The judge noted reports indicating that Moore did not seem to grasp the seriousness of his offenses and highlighted the high risk of re-offending.

Despite this, the judge reduced Moore’s sentence by one year due to his early guilty plea, resulting in a total of three years in prison.

Additionally, Moore will be under strict supervision for five years following his release to prevent further offenses.

The court proceedings revealed disturbing details about Moore’s methods of luring and abusing the young girls.

He traveled from London to Johnstone, where he initially contacted the Scottish girl through an internet chatroom used by his own daughter in October 2002, when she was only 12 years old.

Their relationship escalated over phone calls and text messages, culminating in Moore spending a night with her at a Glasgow hotel in May of the following year.

Later, he returned from London and stayed in a makeshift shelter in Rannoch Woods, Johnstone, where he engaged in sexual activity with the girl.

Moore even secured a council flat near her home and threatened her family if she disclosed their relationship.

The case took a further sinister turn when Moore attempted to contact the girl at her school, posing as her uncle in an effort to continue his predatory behavior.

His arrest followed this attempt, marking the end of his criminal activities.

The case has left a lasting impact on the families involved and has raised serious questions about the adequacy of protective measures and the justice system’s response to such crimes.
