DUNDEE MAN JAILED FOR SENDING HITLER COMMENT TEXTS TO EX-GIRLFRIEND
A man who sent offensive text messages to his former Polish girlfriend, in which he claimed that "Hitler should have done his job properly," has been sentenced to three months in jail.
Darren Tosh directed this stream of abusive communication at Zuzanna Winianska following their breakup last year.
A sheriff stated to Tosh, 36, living on North Erskine Street in Dundee: "You are an outrage and society casts you out.
These messages are the most disgusting slur that could be directed at someone." During the court hearing at Dundee Sheriff Court, it was revealed that Tosh, an electrician, and Ms Winianska had maintained friendly relations after their separation, as she was seeking repayment of money Tosh owed her.
When she requested the repayment, Tosh responded with the insulting messages, also commenting that she "looked like an East German shot putter."
