BRADFORD MAN TO FACE SECURE HOSPITAL AFTER KILLING BROTHER
A man who admitted killing his nine-year-old brother is likely to be sent to a secure hospital for treatment, a judge has said.Daniel Taylor, 21, pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of Jack Taylor in June.
His plea has now been accepted by prosecutors at Bradford Crown Court.
Jack died after being stabbed at a house on Rookes Avenue, Bradford.
A judge adjourned sentencing until next month and said he was minded to make Taylor subject to a hospital order.
Judge James Goss QC said he needed to hear further submissions before making a final decision.
Taylor was remanded into the custody of Rampton Special Hospital.
The court heard he was a paranoid schizophrenic and was probably suffering an abnormality of mind when he carried out the attacks.
Jack died in hospital after suffering multiple stab wounds at the house on 18 February.
