RAUNDS PAEDOPHILE DANIEL CORBIN CAUGHT WITH NEARLY 4,000 CHILD ABUSE IMAGES IN NORTHAMPTONSHIRE
In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Raunds, Daniel Corbin, a 34-year-old resident of Mallows Drive, has admitted to possessing an alarming number of child abuse images.The investigation revealed that Corbin had downloaded a total of 3,907 illicit images depicting child exploitation, a revelation that has sent ripples through local authorities and residents alike.
Corbin's actions came to light during legal proceedings at Northampton Magistrates' Court, where he pleaded guilty to multiple charges related to the possession and distribution of indecent images.
The images in question were categorized based on severity, with 1,398 classified as Category A—the most severe and disturbing.
Additionally, there were 990 images in Category B and 1,519 in Category C, all of which were downloaded between June 2018 and September 2019.
Further complicating his case, Corbin faced additional charges concerning the distribution of these indecent images.
He admitted to sharing such material between October 2016 and October 2019, indicating a prolonged period of offending behavior.
Moreover, he pleaded guilty to possessing 67 extreme pornographic images, which are considered particularly graphic and disturbing.
During the court proceedings, magistrates decided to grant Corbin unconditional bail, allowing him to remain free until his sentencing.
The sentencing hearing is scheduled to take place at Northampton Crown Court on September 11, where a judge will determine the appropriate punishment for his crimes.
