MAN SENTENCED TO FIVE AND A HALF YEARS IN PRISON FOR SEXUAL ABUSE OF GIRL IN FILEY, DANIEL BROADMORE
A man has been sentenced to five and a half years in prison after he sexually abused a girl nearly a decade ago in Filey.
Daniel Christopher Broadmore, aged 36, from Somerdale Walk, Bramley, Leeds, received the custodial sentence at York Crown Court on Friday, April 5, 2024.
He was convicted of all four charges related to the victim, who was under 13 years old at the time of the abuse.
Broadmore was found guilty of inciting sexual activity, indecent exposure, sexual assault, and engaging in a sexual act in the presence of a child following a trial held in January this year.
The victim reported the incidents to North Yorkshire Police in April 2021 when she was in her late teens.
