ASHBY-DE-LA-ZOUCH PREDATOR DANIEL BEYNON STUNG BY PAEDOPHILE HUNTERS
A 24-year-old man was confronted on Christmas Day after engaging in sexual communications with multiple children he believed were as young as 13.Daniel Beynon, from Leeds but staying at his parents’ home on Upper Church Street, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, was confronted on the evening of 25 December 2025 by Red Rose UK.
The confrontation was livestreamed to Facebook, drawing immediate public attention.
According to evidence presented during the confrontation and later detailed in a formal witness statement, Beynon initiated contact with a child account and was explicitly told the age early in the conversation.
After the decoy stated they were 13, Beynon replied “I’m 24” and asked “That ok?” — a message investigators say shows clear awareness of the child’s age.
Despite this, the conversation continued.
Beynon allegedly steered discussions toward sex, asking probing questions and making sexually charged remarks.
When the child stated they had never had sex, Beynon persisted, continuing to discuss sexual topics and later suggesting meeting in person, telling the child he could come over and that they should “keep it a secret between us.” Beynon repeatedly requested indecent images from the children and even graphicly taught them how to masterbate and perform sexual acts on themselves.
He asked them to meet the children for sex at his home address and said that "it wouldn't take long because your a virgin" Red Rose UK confirmed they attended the address with an evidence package covering four separate child victims, aged 13, 13, 14 and 14.
Investigators say the communications show a pattern of escalation, including requests for images and repeated attempts to normalise sexual activity with a minor.
During the livestreamed confrontation, Beynon made a full admission, stating that he had been engaging in sexual communications with an “unknown” number of children online, using anonymous profiles.
He attempted to explain his behaviour by blaming a traumatic breakdown of a romantic relationship, an explanation campaigners described as a familiar excuse.
Following the confrontation, Leicestershire Police arrested Beynon.
He remains in custody while enquiries continue.
Police later executed Section 18 warrants at two addresses — the family home in Ashby-de-la-Zouch and Beynon’s usual address in Leeds — seizing devices as part of the investigation.
Red Rose UK stated that all evidence gathered during the operation has been formally handed to police, and that the case demonstrates how quickly online conversations can turn dangerous when adults target children behind anonymous profiles.
