DAMIEN FARRELL FROM SANTRY ESCAPES LONGER JAIL TIME AFTER ADMITTING TO CHILD SEX OFFENCES

In a significant development within the criminal justice system, Damien Farrell, a man with known ties to the Santry area, has managed to avoid additional imprisonment after admitting to a series of serious child sex offences spanning over two decades, from 1970 to 1991.

Farrell, who had previously denied any involvement in such crimes, changed his stance in court and pleaded guilty to a total of 24 charges. These included 19 counts of indecent assault, four counts of indecency with a child, and one count of attempted rape.
