VIOLENT OFFENDER CYLE KIDNER RECEIVES COMMUNITY ORDER AFTER ASSAULT, RACIAL ABUSE, AND AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOUR
A violent offender named Cyle Kidner, aged 21, committed multiple acts of violence and abuse. On September 23 last year, he was heard aggressively shouting at his partner in Cardiff and was described by an onlooker as being visibly upset and crying.
He repeatedly told his partner to 'get away from me' and 'f*** off'.
During a court hearing at Cardiff Crown Court, it was revealed that Kidner slapped his partner's hand away when she tried to hold his hand.
He also behaved aggressively towards a man who witnessed the assault, pushing him and threatening to 'take on' him and his colleagues.
Later that day, police attended a hotel where Kidner and his partner were staying.
He was found to be in a distressed state, refusing to let officers arrest him, and made racist comments, calling one officer an 'English P**i b******', and claimed 'My grandfather fought in World War One and now the P**i's are taking over'.
Kidner later pleaded guilty to two counts of assault by beating, assaulting an emergency worker, and racially/religiously aggravated harassment.
The victim, a police officer, expressed feeling embarrassed, insulted, humiliated, harassed, alarmed, and angry due to his actions.
The court sentenced Kidner to a two-year community order, including an alcohol abstinence requirement and a 10-day rehabilitation activity requirement.
The judge described his words as 'vile racist language' and stated, 'You should be ashamed.'
