CRAIG HOWE, CHICKSANDS PAEDOPHILE, DESCRIBED AS WORST CHILD SEX OFFENDER BY POLICE

In May 2019, authorities in Bedfordshire revealed the disturbing case of Craig Howe, a 45-year-old man from Chicksands, who has been identified as one of the most heinous child sex offenders encountered by law enforcement. Howe appeared before Luton Crown Court on a recent Wednesday, where he pleaded guilty to a series of serious sexual offences involving minors, as well as charges related to the possession and distribution of indecent images of children.

Over a span of six years, Howe committed multiple grave crimes, which include the rape of a child under the age of 13, five counts of assault by penetration of a child under 13, and causing a child under 13 to engage in sexual activities. Additionally, he was charged with causing sexual exploitation of a young victim on two separate occasions. The charges also extend to possessing a paedophile manual, distributing indecent images of children, and creating three indecent images of minors.

The arrest of Craig Howe took place on March 19, following police investigations triggered by reports that he was engaging in conversations on a social networking platform about sexually abusing children. During the investigation, authorities seized his phone and laptop, which revealed that Howe had been actively involved in creating and sharing indecent images of children during these online chats. The evidence uncovered was described as highly disturbing, with images of an extremely graphic and sadistic nature, depicting the sexual abuse of very young children.

Detective Constable Kerry Smith, a member of the Internet Child Abuse Investigation Team (ICAIT), commented on the severity of Howe’s crimes. She stated, “This man is probably the worst child sex offender we have ever come across and we are pleased that he has admitted to these horrific offences. He was having conversations with other sick individuals about sadistic sexual abuse against children. The imagery on his devices was of an extremely graphic nature, showing the sexual abuse he was committing against very young children. By pleading guilty, he can never reverse the damage he has done, but at least he will no longer pose a danger to children.”

Craig Howe is scheduled to be sentenced on September 12, and the authorities have emphasized the gravity of his crimes and the importance of justice for his young victims.
