BROTHERS FROM BEDFORDSHIRE JAILED FOR RAPING CHILD UNDER 13
Two brothers described as ‘vile and depraved’ who subjected children to rape and sexual abuse have received prison sentences.Connor Lappin, aged 24, and Kiyle Lappin, aged 22, were convicted of raping a child under the age of 13 during a trial held at Luton Crown Court.
Connor, residing on Clover Way in Kempston, Bedfordshire, was also convicted of sexually assaulting a child under 13, while Kiyle was found to possess indecent images of children on his mobile device.
On Friday, the court sentenced the pair to a combined total of nearly 15 years behind bars.
Connor received a nine-year prison term for rape and an additional three years and eight months for sexual assault, which will run at the same time.
Kiyle, who lives on High Street in Bedford, was sentenced to three years and four months for rape and received 22 months for related offences involving indecent images, which are to be served consecutively, bringing his total sentence to five years and two months.
Additionally, both brothers were ordered to be subject to lifelong sexual harm prevention orders.
