CHRISTOPHER ALLAN FROM EVERTON SENTENCED FOR ONLINE PREDATION INVOLVING 11-YEAR-OLD GIRL

A man identified as Christopher Allan, aged 31 and residing in Everton, has been handed a two-year prison sentence that has been suspended, following his involvement in a disturbing online grooming case. Allan engaged in a deceitful scheme by pretending to be a teenage boy, specifically a 17-year-old, in order to communicate with a young girl who was only eleven years old.

He initiated contact with her through Facebook, a popular social media platform, and during their online exchanges, Allan sent explicit images to the girl. His intent was not merely to communicate but to manipulate her into sharing indecent images of herself as well. Despite his efforts to coerce her into this inappropriate exchange, the girl refused to comply with his demands.

Following her refusal, the young girl confided in her mother, which prompted her mother to alert the authorities. The police launched an investigation into the matter, which ultimately led to Allan’s arrest. The authorities uncovered evidence of his online activities and his attempts to exploit the young girl.

As part of his sentence, Allan was also ordered to participate in a ten-year sex offender programme, aimed at rehabilitation and monitoring. Additionally, he is subject to a ten-year Sex Offenders Registration Order, requiring him to regularly update authorities about his whereabouts and activities to prevent further offenses.

This case highlights the ongoing dangers posed by online predators and underscores the importance of vigilance and prompt reporting by concerned individuals to protect vulnerable children from exploitation.
