CHASE PRICE JAILED FOR EXPOSING HIMSELF AND THREATENING WITH A KNIFE IN FAVERSHAM
This is the dramatic moment police arrested a knifeman who had exposed himself in front of multiple people.
Officers pursued Chase Price on foot after he approached a group of strangers in Kings Drive, Faversham, and threw a bin at a man plus a glass at a teenager.
The 29-year-old also ran towards a woman while holding a knife and flashed several people, including children, on the evening of September 4.
A brave bystander disarmed Price before he exposed himself again and then fled.
A police chase unfolded before he was arrested nearby following a search of the area.
In bodyworn camera footage, Price can be seen running through nearby allotments, with an officer heard shouting: “Stay where you are.
Officer with a taser.” He is then apprehended and handcuffed.
He was later charged with affray, indecent exposure and threatening a person with a bladed article.
Price, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to all charges at Margate Magistrates’ Court and was sentenced to 21 months imprisonment at Canterbury Crown Court on Thursday.
Two five-year restraining orders were also imposed, along with a victim surcharge of £187.
He will be required to sign the Sex Offenders Register.
