In a disturbing incident that has shocked the community in Houston, Texas, Amber Paige Laudermilk, a 34-year-old embalmer employed at Memorial Mortuary & Crematory, is now facing serious allegations of mutilation involving the body of Charles Roy Rodriguez. Rodriguez, a 58-year-old man who had died of natural causes in January, was a registered sex offender with a history dating back to a 2001 sexual assault charge, for which he received ten years of deferred adjudication.

The allegations detail a gruesome act carried out by Laudermilk during the preparation of Rodriguez’s body for cremation. Court documents reveal that she used a scalpel to perform a shocking and violent mutilation, specifically targeting Rodriguez’s genital area. It is reported that she castrated him, removing his privates and subsequently placing them in his mouth.
