CHACE WISEMAN FROM WITHAM SENTENCED FOR HORRIFIC SEXUAL OFFENCES IN CHELMSFORD

A young man has been sentenced to prison after being found guilty of committing a series of deeply disturbing sexual crimes against a vulnerable young victim. Chace Wiseman, aged 18 and residing on Colne Chase in Witham, pleaded guilty to a total of 12 charges, which included two counts of child rape. The sentencing took place at Chelmsford Crown Court on Thursday, where he was handed a sentence of 10 and a half years behind bars.

The case has sent shockwaves through the local community, with authorities describing the offences as extremely heinous. Detective Constable Red Leeson expressed the gravity of the situation, stating, "The level of his offending has made this investigation extremely distressing and traumatic for all those involved, and our thoughts are with the victim and their family."

Wiseman's arrest was carried out by Essex Police on January 3rd at his residence in Witham. During the search, officers uncovered a significant collection of distressing videos and images, which further underscored the severity of his crimes. Throughout the police interview, Wiseman refused to answer any questions posed to him.

Following his conviction, Essex Police confirmed that Wiseman has been placed on the sex offenders register and is subject to a restraining order, ensuring he remains under supervision and restrictions to protect the public and prevent further harm.
