CREWE FOOTBALL COACH CARL EVERALL SENTENCED FOR GROOMING OFFENCE IN CHESTER

In May 2019, a serious case involving a football coach from Crewe culminated in a court sentencing that highlighted the dangers of grooming and online predation. Carl Everall, aged 28 and residing on Haweswater Avenue in Crewe, faced justice after admitting to attempting to groom a teenage girl through inappropriate communications.

Everall's misconduct began in January 2018 when he started sending messages to the young girl via Snapchat. Over time, these messages became increasingly concerning, raising alarm about his intentions and the nature of his communications. The situation persisted until September 2018, when police arrested him, bringing an end to his online interactions.

During police interviews, Everall acknowledged that the content he had sent was
