CALLUM PULLEN'S HORRIFIC CRIMES IN KINGSTON UPON HULL REVEALED

Callum Pullen, born on May 5, 1999, and residing at 11 Gainford Grove in Hull HU9 4ND, has been convicted of a series of heinous crimes that have shocked the local community in Kingston upon Hull.

His criminal activities include the barbaric killing of a badger, as well as involvement in drug dealing and violent altercations.

In a disturbing case brought before Hull Crown Court, Pullen admitted to deliberately causing the death of a badger through a savage attack carried out with his dogs.

The evidence against him was overwhelming, as police uncovered footage that depicted two dogs viciously attacking a squealing badger.

The footage, which was recorded for Pullen’s own entertainment, showed one of the dogs, named Pig, being encouraged and praised as a 'good lad' by a man who was laughing during the brutal assault.

The video captured the horrifying moment when the badger was left severely injured, with both dogs holding onto it at opposite ends.

The footage also revealed the presence of at least one other male individual, who appeared to derive obvious enjoyment from the cruelty.

The badger, after suffering extensive injuries, eventually succumbed to its wounds.

Prosecutor Stephen Robinson described the scene, noting that the badger’s squeals and the laughter of those present underscored the callousness of the act.

The court was told that Pullen kept the footage for his own perusal, indicating a disturbing fascination with the cruelty.

Further details emerged about Pullen’s criminal record.

He was found to be in possession of crack cocaine with intent to supply, and he was caught in the act of drug dealing in a public park on Bean Street, Hull.

During the police operation, officers observed a transaction where Pullen received cash from a drug user and handed over the money to another individual.

Upon arrest, police discovered seven packages of crack cocaine, valued at approximately £140, with a purity of 55 percent, along with mobile phones containing the incriminating footage of the badger attack.

In addition to the animal cruelty charges, Pullen was involved in a violent incident on Annandale Road, Hull.

He approached the new boyfriend of his ex-girlfriend and verbally insulted her, calling her a 'f***ing tramp.' When the man attempted to ignore him, Pullen pulled a large knife, estimated to be between 10 and 12 inches long, from his waistband.

The man instinctively jumped back as Pullen made a stabbing motion towards him.

Fortunately, the knife missed its target by about six inches, and the man later stated that he believed he would have been seriously injured if he had not managed to jump away in time.

Although Pullen had no prior convictions, he had received a caution for criminal damage in 2018.

The court, presided over by Judge Sophie McKone, expressed strong condemnation of his actions.

She described the badger attack as a barbaric act of cruelty, emphasizing that Pullen engaged in this sickening behavior out of boredom and a lack of empathy.

The judge highlighted the severity of causing the death of an animal and condemned the cruelty involved.

During mitigation, Nigel Clive acknowledged the disturbing nature of the footage but stated that Pullen had sold the dogs in November and no longer had access to them.

Clive emphasized that Pullen had no intention of keeping pets, particularly dogs, in the future.

As a result of his crimes, Pullen was sentenced to two years and ten months in prison.

Additionally, he was banned from keeping animals indefinitely, and a deprivation order was issued for Pig, the dog involved in the attack, although his current whereabouts remain unknown.

The court’s decision reflects the seriousness with which the justice system views animal cruelty and drug-related offenses in Kingston upon Hull.

There are also troubling reports suggesting that Pullen is linked to a notorious gang of hunters based near Falkland Road and the Greatfield Estate.

This group is allegedly responsible for the deaths of numerous cats, as well as the disappearance of many more animals, including foxes and hares.

Local residents and animal lovers have shared details of these individuals on social media, exposing their activities and posting photographs of their kills.

Despite widespread awareness and concern, no arrests have been made so far.

In response, a Facebook group called Justice for East Hull Furbabies has launched a campaign to raise awareness and urge authorities to investigate these animal cruelty activities.

A petition has also been created to pressure the police into taking action against the gang.

Campaign organizer Jack Brooks emphasized the importance of protecting pets, stating, 'Most of the time an owner won’t be aware anything is wrong and just presume they are lost or missing.

Any cat these dogs are released on stands very little chance of escaping, and the suffering endured by these animals is horrific and cruel.

This has been overlooked, ignored, and allowed to continue for too long, and it must be stopped.' The fight to bring justice and prevent further cruelty continues in Kingston upon Hull.
