MAN JAILED FOR STALKING WOMAN
A man from Bexleyheath has received a prison sentence after engaging in stalking behavior and damaging a woman’s bedroom window.Caleb Atkins, aged 27 and residing on Regal Walk, appeared before Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Friday, May 15.
He was convicted of criminal damage and stalking and received a four-week sentence.
The incidents occurred in Greenwich between April 24 and May 3 and involved ongoing harassment towards a woman.
Court records show Atkins repeatedly called the victim, entered her home without permission, jumped her fence, and violated bail restrictions previously set.
Additionally, he broke her bedroom window, resulting in £100 worth of damage.
The court deemed the severity of these offenses warranting immediate custody.
Atkins’s sentences for each offense are four weeks, served concurrently.
A restraining order was issued, prohibiting him from making any contact direct or indirect with the woman until May 14, 2028.
