SOUTH YORKSHIRE POLICE HUNT 62-YEAR-OLD SEX OFFENDER CAESER TAYLOR
A convicted sex offender who is currently at large is suspected to be in Rotherham.Caeser Taylor, aged 62, has connections to South Yorkshire and is sought after for failing to update the Sex Offenders Notification Register (SONR).
He has previous convictions for exposure, four counts of sexual assault, and two counts of sexual assault involving a girl under the age of 13.
These convictions occurred between 2014 and 2024.
His most recent sentence was 18 months in prison in December 2024 for sexual assault.
Additionally, he was placed on the sex offenders’ register for life in 2014 and remains subject to notification requirements for sex offenders.
Taylor is wanted for breaching the SONR by not registering a new address within the required seven-day period.
Since his failure to notify authorities about his change of address, law enforcement has conducted thorough investigations, including speaking to his associates, analyzing his phone records, and reviewing CCTV footage.
He is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a slim physique, thinning light brown/grey hair, and a clean-shaven face.
Emma Cleghorn, from the Doncaster ViSOR team, stated: “Finding Taylor is crucial.
Anyone knowingly helping him could be committing a crime and risking prosecution.
“Taylor has ties throughout South Yorkshire, and we believe he may be in the Rotherham area.
If you see him, please do not try to approach but call 999 instead.” Police also encourage anyone with additional information to contact them on 101, quoting reference 14/84243/26.
