75-YEAR-OLD MAN 'UPSKIRTED' PERSON IN BOURNEMOUTH
A 75-YEAR-OLD man secretly recorded and ‘upskirted’ a person in Bournemouth town centre, a court heard.
Broderick Toney, 75 and of Ringwood Road in Ferndown, admitted to recording an image under a person’s clothing without their consent.
He appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court for sentence on September 9.
It was said the incident happened on August 11, 2023, on Commercial Road in Bournemouth.
Toney recorded an image beneath a person’s clothing to expose their underwear, genitals or buttocks, which would not have been visible otherwise.
It was said that this was done with the intention of Toney or another person looking at the image for sexual gratification.
Toney was handed a five-month sentence suspended for two years.
He must complete 26-days of a programme, 80 hours of unpaid work, pay £85 in prosecution costs and a victim surcharge of £154.
Toney will be subject to a sexual harm prevention order for 10 years.
