CONVICTED DOMESTIC ABUSER BRIAN DOLAN STRIKES AGAIN IN FALLOWFIELD
A man with a history of serious domestic abuse against five previous partners has committed further offenses.Brian Dolan, aged 35, had convictions for harassment, possession of an offensive weapon, and violent offences.
Recently, he threatened to harm his ex-partner by saying, "I will kick your door down, I will smoke you all.
Why do you think I have gloves on?" and told her he had a gun.
He also persistently messaged her teenage daughter, escalating the situation.
Police were called when he raged outside her home, and he was arrested.
Dolan initially denied the accusations but later pleaded guilty to making threats to kill and stalking.
The victim stated, "He wouldn't stop.
This has had a massive impact on my mental health." During the court hearing at Manchester Crown Court, the prosecutor highlighted Dolan's extensive criminal record, which includes offences against five ex-partners and charges such as harassment, possession of offensive weapons, and violence.
Dolan's lawyer described him as remorseful and ashamed, citing struggles with depression and PTSD following an unprovoked attack in 2009.
The judge, Kate Cornell, sentenced Dolan to a year and four months in jail, suspended for 16 months.
He was also ordered to complete 10 days of rehabilitation and 150 hours of unpaid work.
Furthermore, Dolan was placed under a restraining order banning him from contacting his former partners for ten years.
