BRANDON ROBB FROM LESLIE SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL OFFENCES AGAINST CHILDREN, ANIMAL ABUSE AND DOMESTIC ABUSE IN FIFE AND EDINBURGH
A man from Leslie, Brandon Robb, has been convicted and sentenced for a series of serious sexual offences and domestic abuse incidents spanning over a decade. The case, which has garnered significant attention, highlights the disturbing pattern of Robb’s criminal behavior, which included targeting vulnerable children and women in various locations across Fife and Edinburgh.
Robb, now 28 years old, was found guilty of multiple charges related to his abuse of minors and adults.
His criminal activities began when he was a teenager, with allegations dating back to May 2011.
Over a four-year period, Robb subjected two young girls and a young boy to horrific ordeals at different locations within Leslie.
These crimes included sexual assaults that left lasting trauma on his victims.
The court heard harrowing details of one incident where Robb seized a young girl by her neck, constricting her breathing, and repeatedly punched her, demonstrating a violent and predatory nature.
In addition to his crimes against children, Robb also committed acts of terror and intimidation against two women in Leslie, with these offences occurring between November 2019 and February 2023.
His pattern of violence and sexual predation was confirmed through evidence presented during his trial at the High Court in Edinburgh.
The court also noted that Robb has a prior criminal record for sexual offences, including rape, unlawful sexual intercourse with a child, sexual assault, and domestic abuse charges.
During the sentencing hearing, Robb appeared via a video link from prison at the High Court in Inverness.
The prosecution sought a lifelong restriction order, which is reserved for the most violent and dangerous offenders.
Such an order entails a life-long prison term combined with intensive social work supervision upon release, with the possibility of recall to prison if further crimes are committed.
The defense, led by counsel Richard Goddard KC, argued against imposing such a restriction, citing Robb’s age at the time of the offences and the nature of the charges as reasons to consider a less severe sentence.
Judge Lord Lake decided to defer sentencing until a comprehensive risk assessment could be completed.
This assessment will determine whether Robb poses a continued threat to the public.
The final sentencing is scheduled for June at the High Court in Edinburgh, where the court will also consider a Crown request to impose indefinite non-harassment orders to protect four individuals from Robb’s potential contact.
Following the trial, Robb was sentenced on June 30, 2025, to seven years in prison for his convictions related to non-recent sexual offences against children and domestic abuse.
He was also placed on the sex offenders register indefinitely, given a 20-year non-harassment order, and will be subject to a six-year license period upon his release.
These measures aim to prevent any further harm and ensure ongoing supervision.
Detective Sergeant Alasdair Young issued a statement emphasizing the severity of Robb’s actions, describing him as a violent predator who preyed on vulnerable victims.
He expressed hope that the victims find some solace in knowing that Robb is now behind bars, preventing him from causing further harm.
Detective Young also highlighted the challenges faced in investigating past abuse cases and reaffirmed Police Scotland’s commitment to pursuing justice for victims, regardless of when or where the offences occurred.
The police continue to encourage anyone with information or who wishes to report abuse to contact them via the non-emergency number 101.
UPDATE 11/07/2025 Notorious “urban hunter” Brandon Robb killed a cat, hares, deer, a fox, a heron and other birds. He previously admitted killing the animals using a catapult and his lurchers Glen and Skye in an autumn 2022 crime spree which came to light when one of his trophy videos began circulating on TikTok.
He appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court for sentencing after earlier admitting 20 charges of injuring or killing animals in Fife.
Brandon robb, formerly of leslie has been sentenced to a further year in prison which will run consecutively with the sentence he is already serving.
Sentencing on Friday 11th July, Sheriff John MacRitchie told Robb: “It is disturbing that you filmed your offending on your mobile phone.
“For the most part, you deliberately operated under cover of darkness.
“The recovered texts (on his phone) are demonstrative of the fact you fully realised you were doing wrong and, if caught, would end up in jail”.
The sheriff gave Robb a one-year prison sentence for his “egregious” offending, to be served consecutively to his existing High Court jail term.
He said he would have imposed a sentence “far in excess” of this but has to consider the totality of all sentences, including the one Robb is serving.
