BRISTOL MAN JAILED FOR RAPE AFTER DNA EVIDENCE LINKS HIM TO ATTACK
A man from Kingswood, Bristol, named Benjamin Hudson, aged 24, was convicted and sentenced for a heinous rape that occurred in Hartcliffe on December 6 of the previous year.
The attack left the victim traumatized, and the police investigation was reinforced by forensic DNA evidence that conclusively linked Hudson to the crime scene.
Hudson initially answered 'no comment' during police interviews but ultimately admitted to the offence in court, acknowledging the substantial evidence against him.
He was subsequently sentenced to five years and four months in prison at Bristol Crown Court.
