CATSHILL PAEDOPHILE SENTENCED TO SIX MONTHS IN JAIL
Benjamin Davies, a 28-year-old convicted sex offender from Catshill, has been sentenced to six months in prison after he invited teenage boys to his residence to use drugs. In 2009, a Sexual Offences Prevention Order was imposed on him, prohibiting any contact with individuals under 18.
The court was informed that he had invited a 15-year-old schoolboy and his 17-year-old friend to his flat, where they smoked cannabis together.
This incident marked his second violation of the order, resulting in the six-month jail term.
Davies had been listed on the Sex Offenders Register since the age of 14 and had prior convictions for producing indecent images of children as well as breaching a community order.
The judge cautioned him that any further violations could result in a significantly longer prison sentence.
