CHELTENHAM STUDENT ARRESTED FOLLOWING STING OPERATION

Ben Cross, a music student from Cheltenham was arrested by Police following a sting operation by paedophile hunters from Red Rose UK.

The operation on the 7th of March 2026, saw hunters confront Cross at his home address.

Cross had been grooming and communicating sexually with a child he believed to be just 14 years old online.

He had sent sexual messages and an explicit picture of his penis.

He was arrested by the Police and released with strict bail conditions
