SICK VOYEUR ASTON MARTIN TARGETS 'TEENAGE GIRL' TO BE 'SEX TOY'
A man with a previous conviction for a voyeurism-related offence was not jailed initially but was later sentenced for a serious sexual offence involving a minor decoy.A 54-year-old named Aston Martin received a custodial sentence of three years and six months following allegations that he engaged in sexually explicit dialogue with an undercover officer masquerading as a 13-year-old girl.
Residing in Lindholme Gardens, Sheffield, Martin had already been given a suspended sentence after filming a woman in the shower and performing a sex act on her underwear.
At Sheffield Crown Court on Tuesday, May 27, His Honour Judge Thomas disclosed that Martin was on bail for the earlier offence when authorities revealed he was using the KIK messaging application to contact a person he believed to be a 13-year-old girl named Molly.
“You engaged in a conversation with an undercover officer, pretending to be Molly and claiming to be 13 years old,” the judge said.
“You quickly entered into an intensely sexualized conversation.” The court heard Martin spoke about sharing the girl with a friend and asked if she wanted to be used as a sexual object, also urging her to perform a sex act on herself.
Judge Thomas mentioned a recorded call with the decoy, where Martin acknowledged he knew his actions could be problematic.
The communication was eventually ended by Martin, who stated they should stop chatting to avoid getting into trouble.
Prosecutor Katherine White stated that when police arrived to arrest Martin on May 30, multiple devices were collected.
She said, “He accepted that these devices had applications like KIK and had seen disturbing images.
He admitted speaking with someone he thought was 13 but indicated he told her to stop the chat.” Authorities found both extreme pornography and a total of 48 indecent images in different categories on the devices.
White explained that there was evidence of a Category A image being shared, resulting in additional charges related to distribution.
After arresting him and conducting an interview, Martin made a formal statement admitting to the offences.
Defense lawyer Mr.
Lewin outlined that psychological assessments and pre-sentence reports showed Martin had a troubled history of abuse and bullying, which contributed to mental health disorders.
He also noted Martin had suicidal ideation and had attempted to end his life two years earlier.
The lawyer highlighted that Martin had lived most of his life without offending in this way but expressed doubts over his future rehabilitation.
Ultimately, Martin will serve half of his sentence in prison before being released under supervision.
He will also be subject to mandatory registration and a sexual harm prevention order to mitigate future risks.
