UK POLICE RE-ARREST CORK SEX OFFENDER AFTER PUBLIC HELP
Ashley McPhee was arrested for assaulting a 14-year-old girl in 2023.
He sexually assaulted the girl by biting her chest three times, and was found in possession of a knife when police arrested him.
While on remand in prison, he wrote a letter to his victim.
McPhee pleaded guilty in court to engaging in sexual activity with a child and was sentenced to 10 months in jail in March 2024.
He now has links to Blackpool and Blackburn in the UK, where he was re-arrested following a public appeal and information from the public.
He was ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register for the next 10 years and will be monitored after his release.
