ARRAH GOUD CAUGHT IN EAST HAM BY PAEDOPHILE HUNTERS AND SENTENCED TO PRISON

In February 2019, a disturbing case unfolded involving a man from East Ham, London, who was caught in a sting operation conducted by a paedophile hunting team known as 'Scorpion Hunters.'

Arrah Girish Kumar Goud, aged 34 and originally from India, appeared before Wood Green Crown Court to face serious charges related to his online predatory behavior. Goud, who works at a bank, was accused of attempting to meet a minor for sexual purposes after engaging in a pattern of sexual grooming via the internet.

The court was informed that Goud had initiated contact with an online profile he believed belonged to a 13-year-old girl. Over the course of their digital interaction, he sent a series of highly inappropriate and depraved messages, clearly indicating his intent to engage the girl in sexual activity. His messages included explicit descriptions of masturbation and a disturbing desire to have anal sex with her. Additionally, Goud expressed a warped interest in making the girl his slave, revealing a deeply troubling mindset.

Goud had arranged to meet the girl in person, but his plans were thwarted by members of the 'Scorpion Hunters' team. These volunteers, operating covertly, had positioned themselves at the meeting location in East Ham, London, awaiting his arrival. When Goud appeared, he was confronted and questioned about his online activities. The team then contacted the police, who responded swiftly to the scene.

Following their arrival, law enforcement officers arrested Goud on suspicion of attempting to meet a child for sexual purposes. The case was taken seriously, and Goud was subsequently charged and brought before the court.

At his hearing, Goud admitted to the charges of attempting to meet a child following sexual grooming. The court sentenced him to 12 months in prison. Furthermore, he was subjected to a five-year sexual harm prevention order, which restricts his activities and contact with minors. He was also ordered to register as a sex offender for a period of ten years, ensuring ongoing monitoring of his behavior to protect the community from potential harm.
