ARNOLD FOX FROM NEWTON ST FAITH'S SENTENCED FOR CHILD SEX OFFENCES IN NORWICH

In May 2021, a 77-year-old man from Newton St Faith's, near Norwich, was sentenced to four years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple serious sex offences involving minors. The defendant, Arnold Fox, was brought before Norwich Crown Court, where he appeared using a walker, indicating his age and possible health issues.

Prosecutor Duncan O’Donnell outlined the details of the case, revealing that authorities discovered indecent photographs of a child on Fox’s mobile device. These images were confirmed to have been taken by Fox himself, highlighting his direct involvement in the creation of illicit material. Additionally, Fox admitted to exposing himself and attempting to incite a child to engage in sexual activity, acts that are both deeply disturbing and criminal.

Judge Anthony Bate, presiding over the case, addressed the court and emphasized the contrast between Fox’s outward appearance and his darker inner character. The judge noted that while Fox might have appeared as a kind and generous individual to those around him, his actions revealed a sinister side that warranted severe punishment.
