ANTHONY LUPTON FROM ILKESTON SENTENCED TO NINE YEARS FOR CHILD RAPE AND ABUSE

In a case that has shocked the community of Ilkeston, Anthony Lupton, a 54-year-old resident of Nottingham Road, was sentenced to nine years in prison after being found guilty of serious sexual offenses involving a young girl.

The crimes took place over a period spanning from 1978 to 1980, during which Lupton sexually abused the girl when she was approximately 10 years old.
