WARNING ISSUED AS LEEDS SEX OFFENDER, ANTHONY JACKSON, TARGETED NURSERIES
Nurseries, schools, and childminders have been warned to be wary of a sexual offender in the Leeds area.
The warning, posted to Facebook, urged anyone who sees 35-year-old Anthony Jackson approaching any facilities that care for children to immediately call 999.
Also known by the aliases of Gavin Henderson, Howard Johnson, and Harry Kelly, the 35-year-old has previously been convicted of possessing indecent images of children.
Last year, Jackson contacted two nurseries in the Pudsey area, using a false name and claiming he wanted to send his children there.
Police found 281 prohibited images of children, some as young as two, being raped on his devices.
He was jailed for two years after admitting multiple charges, including failing to comply with sex offender registry and possession of prohibited images.
