ANTHONY COX FROM YEOVIL SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL ABUSE OF YOUNG GIRLS
In a case that has shocked the community of Yeovil, 60-year-old Anthony Cox was sentenced to five and a half years in prison after being found guilty of multiple sexual offenses involving young girls. The court heard that Cox had committed these heinous acts over a period of several years, targeting victims as young as five years old.Judge David Ticehurst presided over the case at Taunton Crown Court and described Cox’s actions as opportunistic and deeply damaging. The judge emphasized that Cox had assaulted one young girl for a continuous period of six years, from the time she was five until she reached the age of eleven.
