The young woman expressed her feelings of being 'completely broken,' emphasizing how the assault has left her feeling profoundly violated.

However, Judge Dixon dismissed these claims, stating that Wilcox’s ongoing efforts to manipulate and minimize his actions demonstrated that he was unlikely to be rehabilitated.
The judge emphasized that the severity of the crimes warranted an immediate custodial sentence.
Consequently, Wilcox was sentenced to 13 months in prison.
Additionally, the court imposed a restraining order preventing him from contacting the victim for 15 years, along with a 10-year sexual harm prevention order.
Wilcox was also ordered to register as a sex offender, ensuring ongoing monitoring of his activities.
