A convicted sex offender who failed to allow police access to electronic devices has been sentenced to jail.
Bolton Crown Court was informed that in June 2016, a Liverpool judge issued a sexual harm prevention order to Andrew Taylor, which included a requirement that any technology capable of internet access or storing images be produced upon request.
The 58-year-old, a resident of Lilian Drive in Whitley, pleaded guilty at a prior court hearing to neglecting to fulfill this condition on December 19.
During his sentencing, he received a custodial sentence of one year.
