BROMYARD MAN JAILED FOR BREAKING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ORDER
A MAN has been locked up after being found at an address he was banned from visiting the day after being released from prison. He had previously been jailed for the same offence.
Andrew Mills admitted one count of breaching a domestic violence protection order when he appeared before magistrates in October.
He had been made subject to a domestic violence protection order by magistrates in Kidderminster on October 10, the court heard.
But the 41-year-old had been seen inside an address with a woman in Herefordshire on November 1, in breach of the order.
Kidderminster magistrates said the offence was so serious only a custodial sentence could be justified, as he first breached it the day after it was imposed, resulting in a custodial sentence, and was found at the address again a day after his release from prison.
Mills, of Bromyard, Herefordshire, was committed to prison for 21 days.
